Overview
We are excited to announce the upcoming Jdiobe STEM High School Science Fair, an opportunity for students to showcase their scientific curiosity, creativity, and research skills. This event welcomes projects from all scientific disciplines and encourages innovative approaches to real-world problems.
Eligibility
- Open to all high school students (grades S1 – S6)
- Individual or team submissions (maximum 3 students per team)
- Projects must be original work completed during the current academic year
Project Categories
- Life Sciences & Biology: Projects exploring living organisms, biological processes, genetics, microbiology, plant science, animal behavior, human physiology, or medical advances.
- Chemistry & Materials Science: Investigations involving chemical reactions, properties of substances, development of new materials, polymers, nanotechnology, or analytical techniques.
- Physics & Engineering: Projects related to forces, energy, motion, electricity, magnetism, optics, acoustics, mechanical design, structural analysis, or innovative device construction.
- Computer Science & Mathematics: Research in programming, artificial intelligence, algorithm development, data analysis, mathematical modeling, cryptography, or computational problem-solving.
- Environmental Science & Sustainability: Studies of ecosystems, climate change, pollution monitoring, conservation efforts, renewable energy, waste management, or sustainable practices.

- Project Proposal (Deadline: 01st April 2025)
- Project title
- Research question or engineering goal
- Brief background information (250 words max)
- Proposed methodology
- Required resources and safety considerations
- Timeline for completion
- Final Project Submission (Deadline To be communicated)
- Completed research paper (5 pages max)
- Visual display materials
- Lab notebook or project documentation
- Abstract (250 words max)
Judging Criteria
Projects will be evaluated on:
- Scientific thought and creative approach (25%)
- Research methodology and execution (25%)
- Clarity of presentation and communication (20%)
- Project innovation and originality (20%)
- Understanding of scientific principles (10%)
